18 weeks.... 3 days

Today I am 18 weeks 3 days pregnant, and a slacker. I missed my first Sunday post in 14 weeks. Ugh. I'm not even too sure why, this weekend wasn't even more chaotic than other weekends. But all the same, I missed it.

Anyways, symptoms this week: excessive puking... still. My cravings for peaches and cherries continues, although I found canned peaches at Costco, yay!! :) Weight gain... blah.

As of right now, we have 24 hours, 46 minutes and 12 seconds until our gender scan tomorrow. (Not that I'm counting! hehe) I am so far beyond excited. I can start adding things to our registry, decorating the nursery, etc. The things I have been dying to do for the past 15 months, ever since we started trying for a baby.

My little angel this week:

Head to rump, your baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and she weighs almost 7 ounces. She's busy flexing her arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. Her blood vessels are visible through  her thin skin, and her ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from her head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around her nerves, a process that will continue for a year after she's born. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, but he may hide them from you during an ultrasound.
