8 weeks 1 day

Today I am 8 weeks 1 day pregnant. Everyday that passes I feel more and more attached to my little jelly bean. I've never loved anything as much as I love my baby. I can't wait until I can hold and kiss my baby's face. I can't wait until I find out the gender, so the baby can stop being "the baby" and be a Brody or a Melody. :) I hit 12 weeks on Ryden's birthday. How exciting! At 12 weeks, the risk of miscarriage goes from 20-40% down to less than 1%. That's a milestone I am DYING to reach.

My nausea has gotten a lot better since getting the Zofran, aka GODSEND. I do have really bad breakouts, ugh, and my hair has been super dry lately. My stomach has grown from 24 inches pre-pregnancy to 27.5 inches now. I might include pictures later on of my progressing belly. No "bump" yet, but I can't wait to get one. I wish I could have a huge belly, TOMORROW. Haha :) I am loving being pregnant, every single thing about it. It's the greatest feeling in the entire world, and I get to share it with the husband I have always dreamed about. I am so blessed and so grateful for this experience.

OH! Cravings, yumm. I have been craving fruit pretty bad. I want peaches, pineapple, berries, cherries, fruit pebbles, watermelon jello, lemonade, cranberry juice. Yummy!! :)

Well, it's not so much a little bean anymore. The baby is starting to look like, well... a baby! :)

Your baby is growing at an amazing rate — about a millimeter every day — and now is the size of a large raspberry. Your little berry is looking a lot less reptilian (even though she has webbed fingers and toes, her tail is just about gone) and a lot more baby-like these days, as her lips, nose, eyelids, legs, and back continue to take shape. Her heart is beating at the incredible rate of 150 times per minute — about twice as fast as yours! And even though you can't yet feel it, she's now making spontaneous movements as she twitches her tiny trunk and limb buds.
